Holme Pierrepont Hall is only ten minutes from the centre of Nottingham but with its 30 acres of parkland and garden it feels miles away from anywhere. Dating back over five centuries, Holme Pierrepont Hall is a Grade I Tudor manor house still lived in by descendants of the Pierreponts. The house itself is elegantly furnished with ancestral portraits and antique furniture.
When it comes to holding your civil ceremony at the house there is a choice of three characterful and historic rooms to choose from. The Medieval Lodgings with its wooden beams and log fires is an intimate setting, seating up to 35 guests. The Georgian Ballroom which leads out to the formal East Garden, can accommodate up to 50 guests. For larger celebrations, the Long Gallery seats up to 120 and offers views of both the Courtyard and East gardens.
The Grade 1 listed Church of St Edmund is adjacent to the house and ideal for those who would prefer a religious ceremony.
The Courtyard Garden at Holme Pierrepont Hall with its parterre design, roses and herbaceous borders is a lovely setting for your Drinks reception. The East Garden with its topiary yew avenue provides a stunning backdrop for your photographs throughout the year.
For the evening party the Ballroom provides the location for dancing to a band or DJ or if your guests prefer to relax and chat they can head to the Drawing Room with is comfy sofas and open fire.
